The ideal candidate would possess five years experience as a pilot, loadmaster, flight engineer or crew chief on a multiengine military transport aircraft. Individuals must be able to read, interpret and convert information from military aviation manuals into Computer Based Training (CBT) courseware for use by military personnel undergoing instruction. The SME is primarily responsible for technical and operational accuracy of the CBT and works with a team that includes an Instructional Systems Developer (ISD) who ensures the instructional effectiveness and a Computer Graphic Specialist who builds 2D/3D graphics and animation for the CBT. Ability to use a standard computer workstation and MS Office Word and Excel is desired.

The ideal candidate would possess five years experience as an airframes, avionics, crew chief or safety equipment maintenance technician on a transport or fixed-wing military aircraft. Individuals must be able to read, interpret and convert information from military maintenance manuals into Computer Based Training (CBT) courseware for use by military personnel undergoing instruction. The SME is primarily responsible for technical and operational accuracy of the CBT and works with a team that includes an Instructional Systems Developer (ISD) who ensures the instructional effectiveness and a Computer Graphic Specialist who builds 2D/3D graphics and animation for the CBT. Ability to use a standard computer workstation and MS Office Word and Excel is desired.

Instructional Systems Designers
D.P. Associates Inc. in Havelock, NC is looking for Instructional Systems Developers to support the KC-130J project.
The Instructional System Developers (ISDs) support the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) by designing, developing, and reviewing instructional products. The ISD works closely with development teams to analyze and validate training requirements, objectives, and course content. They guide subject matter experts on ISD best practices and design standards and develop instructional materials in accordance with established standards so that the appropriate instructional strategies are used for each lesson. ISDs ensure that test questions accurately test lesson objectives and that the courseware meets the level of learning and interaction for the objectives. They also ensure the learning objectives and associated training materials support the course curriculum of instruction. The ISDs review all instructional materials; ensuring the courseware and all other deliverables meet with DPA’s standards for instructional integrity and effectiveness. In addition to development work, ISDs assist in determining causes of repetitive performance patterns and recommend potential solutions and use ISD best practices to support DPA’s approach to quality.
Education
BA/BS minimum 4 years with BA/BS, 2 years with MA/MS/MEd
