Job Description
Key Role:
Provide client support to the USMC CIP Program at the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) level. Support the MARFORPAC CIP Office within the MARFORPAC AT/FP/CIP Division. Maintain responsibility for developing, managing, maintaining, and coordination. Support the development and implementation of a CIP program for the I MEF, taking into account its assigned missions and required capabilities in support of Combatant Commands and vital USMC capabilities and functions. Provide analytical support for the development of policies, implementation plans, and strategies required to execute DoD, DON, HQMC, and MARFORPAC CIP programs. Support the development and implementation of CIP programs or planning for the I MEF headquarters and its major subordinate commands. Develop I MEF CIP execution requirements. Conduct analysis of I MEF missions and core requirements to identify Task Critical Assets (TCAs) required to conduct various day-to-day core I MEF functions and operational missions. Determine TCA and Supporting Infrastructure Critical Asset (SICAs) dependencies. Support the identification of vulnerabilities and risks of loss associated with TCAs and SICAs and additional duties as required by the position.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-1+ years of experience with DoD CIP or USMC CIP program required
-1+ years of experience with the general mission, organization, and operations of MEF
-1+ years of experience with policy analysis, physical security, and force protection
-Knowledge of DoD or USMC AT/FP programs required
-Secret clearance required
-BS or BA degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
-Experience with the general mission, organization, function, and operations of MEF
-Knowledge of the Service component’s roles and responsibilities for operational planning and execution
-Experience in a supervisory role preferred
-Experience with database applications, including basic management, the development of reports from SQL and Microsoft products, and entering information through Internet and Web interfaces
-Experience with physical security and risk and vulnerability assessment processes and procedures
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
