Job Order:


Minneapolis, MN (Relocation Assistance Available)


Minneapolis-based hedge fund seeking to fill two roles:

1) Programmer with quantitative skills

2) Applications developer with 3+ years of experience


Commensurate with experience for both.



Applications Developer


This is a hand on position with lots of growth potential and would involve new development and maintenance of existing code and daily process.


The individual must have experience in Visual Basic, VBA for Access, Python, SQL Server, .NET and Excel.  Knowledge of C/C++ is a plus.  Experience in working with financial instruments is required.  BS or MS in Computer Science is required.



Quantitative Programmer


Person will help develop and implement arbitrage and risk management system. This position will require initiative and energy, and will provide good growth potential.


Strong technical skills like COM programming, network sockets programming, multi-threaded programming, C++, VB, .NET and Python programming skills are required.  Minimum of 2 years of quantitative research experience or experience in the derivatives area is required.  Knowledge of credit derivatives is a plus. BS or MS in Computer Science is required.
