Submarine Logistics Analyst

CACI Opportunity, Groton, CT, Submarine Logistics Analyst,
Position Number:  JR 21534

Duties:
CACI has an immediate need for a Submarine Logistics Analyst in
Groton, CT. Operating from NSSC Groton and going onboard local area
submarines while in port the Submarine Logistics Analyst will review
the following records, reports, and/or outputs from the submarines
for completeness, accuracy and compliance and make recommendations
for corrections and/or process improvements and cost
savings/avoidance and to provide training as necessary to submarine
and NSSC personnel:

OPTAR document transmittals
SFOEDLs
MOVs
Budget OPTAR Reports (BORs)
OPTAR AugmentatAion Requests
Stock material reorders
MOF reconciliations

Determines support requirements including facilities, personnel,
safety, and maintenance. Determines logistic support sequences and
time phasing. Anticipates logistics problems related to operational
area and environmental and human factors; determines contingency
requirements and solutions. May design and conduct research or
technical studies to support logistic functions.

Required Qualifications:
Must be eligible to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

Must have expert knowledge of submarine supply and financial
management procedures, processes, applications and practices such as
RSUPPLY, CMP and the reconciliation processes involving DFAS, TRF
Kings Bay and SLDB.

Must have highly developed skills with Microsoft Office applications,
especially Excel. Access to NMCI. Physical ability to gain access to
submarines.

Must be willing to travel 25%

Requires bachelor's degree (in Logistics Management, Mathematics or
related field) OR equivalent experience, and five to seven years of
related logistics experience.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE PURPOSES
