This is about par for the course.
CBS News offers a piece of interactive content, called MILITARY 101, that offers "Basic training to learn all about America's fighting force." Neat, huh?
Except they got their facts wrong. Case in point: the page about the five branches, which asserts that the service academy associated with the Marine Corps is none other than Marine Corps University.
Huh?
Follow the link... MCU is the educational command that helps Marine Corps officers become better at their jobs. The right answer, of course, is my own alma mater: the U.S. Naval Academy.
Kinda makes you wonder what else they got wrong, doesn't it?
